Information used by RANKD

When you sign in through ChatGPT, RANKD receives a site-specific user identifier and may receive your email and display name. RANKD does not receive your ChatGPT password or conversations. We store your chosen profile name, interests, optional profile picture, preferences, challenges, plays, published results, Cases, follows, invitations, reports, blocked-player choices, community-guideline acceptance and feedback to operate these features.

Guests receive an essential visitor cookie to connect their games on this browser. The site also stores some preferences and drafts in browser storage. Clearing browser storage can make guest history inaccessible.

What other players see

Public challenges, published results, profile names, profile pictures and public Cases can be seen by other visitors and shared outside RANKD. Completed results start private until you publish them. Suggested-player discoverability can be switched off in Edit Profile; this does not hide existing public content.

Services and searches

RANKD uses OpenAI Sites for hosting and sign-in, with Cloudflare database and file storage. These providers process service requests and operational logs, which can include connection and device information. Big Questions catalogue searches send search terms to Wikidata (movies), TVmaze (television), Open Library (books), or MusicBrainz (music). External links, including Instagram, follow the destination service’s policies. RANKD does not ask for your device contacts or precise location.

Your choices and deletion

You can edit your profile, remove your picture, change a published result back to private, and archive your challenges. Signed-in players can delete their RANKD profile and its associated stored data through Settings → Delete RANKD account. See account deletion for the scope and help with guest data or lost access. Other players’ independently saved results and screenshots are not deleted. Deleting RANKD data does not delete your ChatGPT account.

Active service records are kept while they support your profile and activity, unless you delete them. Hosting providers may retain backups and security logs under their own policies; deletion from the active RANKD database does not promise immediate removal from provider backups. Contact the operator for access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests.
